If you are crashing in Mozilla and you want the bug to be fixed the best thing
you can do is to attach a stacktrace. If you're not building yourself you are
not out of luck. Mozilla (thanks to a very cool donation from Netscape)
releases nightly and milestone builds with Full Circle's Talkback. Talkback
should catch most crashes and offer to send in a crash report. I can retrieve
that crash report and attach it to your bug report if you provide either the
Incident ID (you can get it by running the talkback program from
/components/talkback/) or you can let me know the email address you used to
submit the report and the time of sending. Thanks for your help in testing
Mozilla and reporting bugs.
Component: Browser-General → Cookies
.
@Asa Dotzler
hm, i didn't have this talkback feature.
Maybe it didn't get installed with the 9.2 Windowsbinary release.
I used the email address: kreuzritter2000@gmx.de to submit the report.
The time was around 17:40 2001-07-03.

And it works fine for me running win NT. Reporter, are you still seeing the
problem? If so, reopen and attach a talk-back report.

Ok, i tested it again several times, now it works.
I also tried it with other cookie settings, but it still works, no crash.
Maybe it crashed on that one day in that special window session when i reported
the bug, maybe it was a bug with windows or a bug that only occurs in a special
constelation.
In very view times mozilla crashes when browsing around on other websites
without any warning messages and so, but all those crashes are not
reproduceable, and i have no logging capabilitys in my window version.
