Details

Firefox and SeaMonkey both crash as soon as I log into the backend of our local TYPO3 (version 4.5.22) installation. After submitting my credentials, the browsers start to load the backend page. The left menu is displayed and I can see the page tree being populated next to it, but after a few seconds the browser crashes.

I can reproduce the problem in safe mode with Firefox 22.0 and SeaMonkey 2.19. The problem wasn't occurring with SeaMonkey 2.17.1.

Here's a crash report for Firefox: https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/8f7ba8a5-e99c-4c85-874e-108e62130710

SeaMonkey doesn't give me the option of filing a crash report; it just dies with a segfault with the following console message:

/usr/bin/seamonkey: line 139: 25489 Segmentation fault $MOZ_PROGRAM "$@"
Possibly a duplicate of Bug 867935...?
