89303 - The selected entry in threaded conversation view of message list is not constrained to stay visible when list is expanded

This problem (I'll call it the problem in the later) is more an enhancement than
a real problem as it was on all GUI mailer I used. Nevertheless I post it hoping
it could be solved.
The problem occurs on all platform (I checked on Linux, Solaris & Win32) on
release 0.9.2 & 0.9.2+ (own build on 20010703) and previous.
I attached 3 images in order to help in the description. Pleases use them.
To reproduce open the 3 paned mail reader on a folder having a lot of mails
ordered by conversation. The mails are presented in a tree, each thread being a
tree node, the mail answers being the children. 
Select a thread at the end of the list. You should have the situation shown in
screen shot 1 (moz_mail_list_on_expand-1.jpg). 
Then either press key * (star) or choose menu item 'View->Messages->Expand All
Threads'. All threads expand and the list entries are scroll down and the view
window is going up (relative to the selected entry). This situation is depicted
in screen shot 2 (moz_mail_list_on_expand-2.jpg).
It would be kind to have the situation depicted in screen shot 3
(moz_mail_list_on_expand-3.jpg). The selected entry should be visible in the
view window (the best position would have been in the first visible row).

Confirmed under Mac/2001080214.

Stated concisely, the problem is that the selected message is not kept in the
view area following the Expand All Threads operation; the user must scroll to
return the selected message to view.

The desired behavior is for the selected message to remain in clear view.

There is no obvious duplicate of this bug, so confirming. Also raising severity
from enhancement to trivial
