User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_8_3) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/27.0.1453.93 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce:
Copy ' http://mozilla.org' and paste it to the URL bar
Note :I am running firefox Nightly 25.0a1 and tried on Stable Firefox 22
Actual results:
It pasted ' http://mozilla.org'
Expected results:
It should have pasted 'http://mozilla.org'
Note : It eventually points to the right URL but since it is not trimmed on paste it is not clear, thus had to manually remove trailing spaces from the front.

Hi Avinash, thanks for the bug report! This looks like it may be a duplicate of bug 764841.
When I paste a leading space into the url bar, as in your example, it is trimmed when I hit return, and I end up at the right page.
What do you find not clear, or confusing?

Yes, it is trimmed after return, but that's not the best User Experience. It is still not clear that if it would go to the right page or do a search of the url. So we end up removing the trailing spaces manually and then hit return.
If the trailing spaces are removed on paste ( I saw this happen on chrome, and it just feels right ), there would be no confusion at all.
