Bookmarks are not hard-coded in the browser, they are customised at build time by editing the bookmarks section in https://github.com/mozilla-b2g/gaia/blob/master/build/applications-data.js Please edit that file when making your builds.

you are misunderstand what this bug refers.. I am demanded to customize above bookmarks.. The Carrier also demands the order of bookmarks. but I found The order of bookmark cannot be customized. The order may changed after each compile. The root cause may be asynchronous add each bookmark.. so, I expect you can fix this out of order mistake..

Hi Ben, Thanks for you suggestion. We customize bookmarks according applications-data.js. But we found the order of bookmarks cannot be customized. The order may change after each compile. The root cause may be asynchronous adding of each bookmark. You can debug browser.json. >getICCSettings(customizeDefaultBookmark, data); Hope you can fix this out of order bug. Thanks for clarifying, Ying. Karen, I think this is sprint ready and ready for prioritisation. Note: The same currently applies for the list of search engines, the order can not be guaranteed. If placement is important for monetization reasons then we should file a bug for that too.

A Pivotal Tracker story has been created for this Bug: http://www.pivotaltracker.com/story/show/55432106
Looks like a feature enhancement. Moving it to koi?

Jack - which operator partner is requesting this? Thanks!
Flags: needinfo?(liuyongming)
Hi Karen, it's Telcel.

My understanding is that only "must have" features from this spreadsheet https://docs.google.com/a/mozilla.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtVT90hlMtdSdEd4TVVjWXNfU3ctMlVhWFRrWkpweVE#gid=12 should be koi+ This should be prioritised along with all other feature requests and should not block the release as it doesn't meet blocking criteria.
blocking-b2g: koi? → -
This is prioritized high in our backlog, but this should not be treated as a blocker. This is a late feature request (but will be treated as high prio and will do our best to get this in)
Firefox OS is not being worked on
