In the message composition window the left arrow key does not work if the
insertion point is at the beginning of a line.

The right arrow does not work if the insertion point is at the end of a line.

The left arrow does not work if the END key is used to go to the end of a line.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start Mozilla
2. Compose a new mail message (CTRL-M)
3. Type a few lines of text in the message body
4. Go to the start of a line and press the left arrow key
OR
4. Go to the end of a line and press the right arrow key
4. Go to the end of a line with the END key and press the left arrow key

Actual Results:  The insertion point does not move.

Expected Results:  The insertion point should move in accordance with the arrow
keys pressed. :-)

This seems to happen in Composer as well.
I am using the Modern theme and have not tested the problem on Classic.
