Idea: What if the JS that invokes the goggles was in the make details bar, rather than a bookmarklet? And what if every webmaker page had a button to invoke the x-ray goggles. Would this be awesome? I have a hypothesis that it would.
This would be an excellent idea. It would make it much lower threshold to play with someone else's make.
Brilliant. Let's do this.
We should start w/ thimble, since its hard to imagine how this will work w/ popcorn maker

This is going to be tricky. While putting a button in the details bar is easy, it'll have to fire up the goggles *inside* the embedded iframe, which only works if we give S3-published-data extra markup that gives it a hidden knowledge of what the goggles are, and how to fire them up. Or find a way to injectercept (that's now a word) the iframe's source in our embed shell.
unassigning pending reprioritisation

resolving this due to complications from iframes, which can be solved by using a goggles extension instead. We have https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=923962 open for that purposes.
