Details
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10.6; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130618035212
Steps to reproduce:
save a file (web page, download, any file)
wait for the save dialog to come up
Actual results:
The save dialog offers you the opportunity to change the file name, with the entire file name selected.
Expected results:
The save dialog should only pre-select the file name part of the file name, not the extension. So "Foo.txt" should have "Foo" pre-selected. In the rare case where the user wants to change the extension, they can, but 90% of the time the user will only want to change the Foo part.

The same behavior is encountered ever since Firefox 4.0.
For now, I'm setting this as an enhancement.
