Open http://www.cs.washington.edu/education/courses/cse590p/590k_02au/print-fp.pdf It's hard to tell exactly what it happening but it looks like: We appears to get a mix of layers including a component alpha layer when scrolling and it doesn't appear to help. This deserves more investigations.
