Details

From Bugzilla Helper: #User-Agent: Mozilla/4.76 [de] (X11; U; Linux 2.4.4 i686) # (Netscape 4.76, because I encountered another bug while trying to send that # form with Mozilla ;-) ) BuildID: 2001062823 I think you should be able to change the pop-server (and perhaps also the user-name) in the Mail-Account settings, because especially free-mail provider often change the server name and some people (like me) sometimes even change their provider. In that case it would be the easiest way to change only the server- and user-name and NOT to create a new account. (I hope there is really no way to do this in the actual build - or have I only been to silly to find it???) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: just go to the mail-account settings.

You're right, there is no way to change it. And that's a longstanding annoyance. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 14295 ***
