Steps to reproduce:

Using the default Mibbit option for opening IRC links points to the HTTPS version of the client, it has mixed content that gets blocked and breaks functionality of a few things (searching and joining other rooms)

I can confirm at least the join chat function when using the channel list is broken as it will launch a new tab/window that starts a new session and joins the desired channel.

Confirming as Mibbit is broken for me as well (Firefox 24b3).

IE10 shows a MCB warning, but I haven't checked if things are broken there as well.

Shows the mixed content warning on IE10 as well as Chrome 28.

Note that we are talking specifically about their chat client, which I assume is this:

https://client00.chat.mibbit.com/

Other pages on the site exhibit mixed content blocking as well.

The issue still exists on Firefox 32.0.3
The site needs to be contacted.

I don't get any MCB issues visiting https://client00.chat.mibbit.com/ on Aurora 38 or IE11.
=> Resolving as WFM, at least for now
