Steps to reproduce:
1. Type some text in a text field at http://www.cs.hmc.edu/~jruderma/s/.
2. Bring down the Go menu.
3. Rapidly click twice in the text field (once to cancel the Go menu, once to
focus the text field).

Result: text field contents are selected.
Expected: as if I had clicked once in the textarea immediately after typing the
text.

I noticed this bug in the mail composition window. I clicked twice in the
subject field to work around bug 66834.

Seems I see that in any Software I use on WIN7 64bit. Really a bug? Only confirming observation does not mean that observation is a bug.

@Reporter: Why do you think that observed behavior is a bug?

If the first click isn't treated as a click on the text field, it's odd for the second click to be treated as a second click of a double-click.
