Currently on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 tablet (perhaps other similar devices) the over-scroll area behind content is drawn black. The area around pinched in content is drawn with the appropriate colour as a border.

Capturing a screenshot doesn't showcase the problem. Attaching a camera-shot.

Kats suspects this is might be related to bug 803299.

Currently mozilla-release, mozilla-aurora, mozilla-beta are unaffected.

Oh there is a pref to disable 24-bit color: gfx.android.rgb16.force

Can you try setting that to false and see what happens?

Forced the preference to true, it doesn't seem to have any affect (I made sure to close the browser for changes to take affect if at all necessary). I'll take a look at inbound builds tomorrow.

I cannot reproduce this issue on 07/29 Nightly build on Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (Android 4.1.1) and Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android 4.0.4) or on 07/30 Nightly build using ZTE x86 (Android 4.0.4)

Bug 705246 disabled over-scroll, therefore I think this can be closed.
