I don't have VC++, so I haven't been able to get a build today (no new nightly 
has been spun), but I hear tell that the folder pane is horked?

yes, and we rather suspect it was the xul changes.

hwaara has fixed the folder pane, search, and filters.

I just fixed the address book 3 pane.

more fixes to come.

I just fixed the mailing list dialog.

hwaara is working on the "ask me" dialog for sending mail.  (html, plain text, 
or both.)

here's a new idea we've been trying out on the mailnews time:

TEST YOUR CODE FIRST BEFORE YOU LAND.

mark / timeless, you should be going over the app looking for other breakage.

mailnews is fixed now.  I looked at other parts of the app but couldn't find any
horkage there.

Search, filters, and general Mail/News UI seems to be back to par.  I tested the
3 pane and the alt layout.  Trunk builds:

RedHat 7.1 - 2001-07-13-21
Mac OS 9.1 - 2001-07-13-09
Windows 2K - 2001-07-15-08
