Steps to reproduce:
The french version of Firefox do not respect the SI and use a strange unity.
Ko = Kelvin-otect, is't stupide.
K = Kelvin
k = kilo (1000)
Ki = 1024

Hi Célian,
Thanks for your report, but we are aware about the difference between Ko and Kio :)
Of course, Kio is indeed the valid unit, scientifically speaking. But people don't care about science, they want to use their browser, and they want it as simple as it can. Firefox should feel natural & friendly, changing to Kio will, for now, make it looks weird & confusing.
If Kio/Mio/Gio is more used one day, trust me, we will make the change.
