Details

User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:22.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/22.0 (Beta/Release)
Build ID: 20130618035212

Steps to reproduce:

When using Firefox -Occasionally get "Display driver stopped and has recovered. Display driver NVIDIA 259.70 stopped responding and has successfully recovered."
This does not occur when using explorer.

Actual results:

Sometimes the recover does not fully recover the display. No other program causes this.

Expected results:

It should not stop.
Be sure your GPU drivers are up-to-date (you can enter about:support in the location bar and check the graphics section to have some details).
Another FAQ: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2665946

Honestly, I think it's an hardware issue with your GPU or OS settings.

Firefox uses hardware acceleration differently than IE, that's why you may not see the message error.
