Details

It seems like the e.me page has too many layers that are not merged into a big texture when panning. This likely slow down performance. The case of results is bug 902465. This bug if for the URL bar, the history bar and the results container itself.

It is too regressions prone to change all that for 1.1 imho but it worth investigating for 1.2.
Mass update: Resolve wontfix all issues with legacy homescreens.

As of 2.6 we have a new homescreen and having these issues open is confusing. All issues will block bug 1231115 so we can use that to re-visit any of these if needed.
