Details

During window start-up, BookmarkingUI's button getter gets called approximately 10 times. That getter queries CustomizableUI for the bookmarks-menu-button and asks for the areaType and node for that widget. I think we can cache the result of the first call, and invalidate it if / when the widget ever moves.
Running some local tests of this idea. Will report my results soon.
None of my local runs suggests that this buys us anything at all.
