Details

Communicator 4.x has a button on the toolbar of the standalone message window which will cause the current message to be displayed in the three-pane window. This function is currently (as of 0.9.2) missing from Mozilla. This is especially useful when searching messages in a newsgroup, as the search results window will only display a message in a standalone window, and finding the message (and the thread in which it appears) in the three-pane is extremely difficult without the functionality described above. Alternatively, an option could be included to switch to search results in the three-pane, but having the button might also prove useful for other reasons.
