I apologise in advance if this is already filed, or this is a known problem... It seems that NoScript breaks the new plugin doorhanger that landed in Firefox 24 if you visit http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about , and the website isn't whitelisted in NS (see attached screenshot). However if the website is whitelisted, then the doorhanger no longer breaks. I tested with clean profiles on Firefox 24b1, Aurora 25 and Nightly 26, using NoScript 2.6.7 and 2.6.7.1rc1, and they all seem to have the same problem. Flipping javascript.enabled to false on a clean profile doesn't cause the same issue.

The problem disappears as soon as you allow any Flash object on that page, e.g. by clicking on a Flash placeholder or by using the "Blocked Objects" submenu. It seems the doorhanger code scans the page for embed elements in order to gather information for its labels, and since NoScript has replaced them with its placeholders it gets confused. Would keeping an inactivated (how?) and invisible copy of the disabled element around fix the problem?

Should be worked around in 2.6.8.1 and above, please check 2.6.8.2rc1 from http://noscript.net/getit#devel Thank you.

Verifying as fixed on Beta 25, Aurora 26 and Nightly 27 with NoScript 2.6.8.1 and 2.6.8.2rc1: the doorhanger doesn't appear at all if no Flash objects have been allowed, and is fine if at least one Flash object has been allowed. Thanks!
