Follow up of Bug 808636 (specifically bug 808636 comment 41):
There should be a way to distinguish web content from "chrome content", e. g. error pages. Firefox desktop has the identitiy indicator which shows a globe or lock icon for web content and the Firefox logo for in-content UI (Favicons are only displayed in tabs thereby making it impossible for web pages to set an arbitrary identity icon). Fennec could do the same which would let it loose the favicon in the location bar, though that's definitely a controversial change. It would however converge desktop and mobile UI a bit more.
Any other suggestions?
