Unagi device master 08/14 build: Gecko-3364547 Gaia-cecd0d7 There is already a contact in the contact list: Name: test, Phone: 0000 STR 1. Create a new contact with name: contact, Phone: 0000 2. Tap on Done 3. On the Duplicates found scren, tap on Merge EXPECTED The contact merges with the contact already created keeping the original information. So, in the contact list there should be: test, 0000 ACTUAL In the contact list it appears: contact, 0000. The name of the original contact is overwritten although the strings are completely different
Summary: [Contacts] When merging contacts, if the new contact name is longer than the original, it overwritest the original name → [Contacts] When merging contacts, if the new contact name is longer than the original, it overwrites the original name

Close the bug, the wireframes are clear: 4.1 First name 4.1.1 Where the first name that is associated to the contact from where the 'find and merge duplicate contacts' functionality was launched constitutes a shorter string than the first name of a suggested contact from the contact list that is merging with them, the first name of the suggested contact overwrites the content of the first name field for this contact.
