Details

In an error message saying it couldn't find my Home Page (http://nu.nl) it
prepended "www." to the URL, i.e. "www.nu.nl".

Greetings,
David.

PS: I am using the version from RedHat 7.1 release.
I can't even begin to guess where this goes... not BackEnd Prefs.

I believe that Redhat 7.1 came with Mozilla 0.7. This release is now over 6
months old.
Reporter, try this using a newer release, like 0.9.2, or one of the recent
nightly builds, and see if it still occurs.
If so, please feel free to reopen this bug.

Unable to test it since I lost my RedHat system.
Should not be very hard though, to find the causing code (imo).

As I remember, the error got displayed when I had no connection to the internet,
and loaded the browser (Home Page in Preferences set to 'http://nu.nl').
Something like 'Unable to find the Home Page wwww.nu.nl' was in the error
message.
