I don't know if opt out is what we should be aiming at but it is still much better than nothing.
committed; should be pushed live in about 12 hours time. Committing to: bzr+ssh://bjones%40mozilla.com@bzr.mozilla.org/bmo/4.2/ modified extensions/Gravatar/Extension.pm added extensions/Gravatar/web modified extensions/Gravatar/template/en/default/hook/global/setting-descs-settings.none.tmpl added extensions/Gravatar/web/default.jpg Committed revision 8957. this adds a new user preference: "Show my gravatar to other users".

Maybe gravatar visibility to not-logged-in users should be opt-in? Presumably those Bugzilla add-ons that I hear about would have the ability to restore the gravatar to people who have "opted out" anyway.

Marking as verified - opt out works, thanks! (I also like the idea to disable gravatar for not-logged-in users)
