Trying to move or delete multiple items either through the right click menu or dragging results in the browser crashing. All related functions work if one item is moved/copied, both right click menu and dragging. The crash is consistent but the number moved or copied varies - unpredictable. Once *all* the items were copied even thou I was trying to *move* a selected amount. Build 20010714

This is what I just did... > > ["swapping" back and forth with the same two folders] > > selected three items from inbox / select move / right click / select > destination (different "root" folder location) > > crash - restart program > > first look at inbox duplicates showing up, even files not selected / > changed focus to another location / returned focus to inbox and > duplicates disappear, appears normal, original files selected remain. > > > > select same three items from inbox / drag to same destination as above / > works as expected > > checked destination / duplicates of same files, *presumably* from the > first attempt > > > > Select the six items in destination folder / drag them to back to inbox > First four make it, and watch "disappear" > > crash - restart program > > Last two remain in destination location > > > Selected the four items from the inbox / right click / select move / > select destination > > crash - restart program > > same "ghosting" appears / change focus to another folder / come back to > inbox, "ghosting" disappears > > check destination, all four were moved / check source inbox, all four > remain (not deleted) > > > Never has this occurred if I move, drag, delete single messages. I was > suprised the three made it, usually I have selected five or more > messages (up to 400) and there is a crash with unexpected results. > > Sorry build number 2001070414 > > Win2k no updates Also tried build number 20010714 08.... same results Harald Glatt, reports above test works on Win2k sp2.

I suspect it has to do with a way that Win2k locks files during access.
Umm thats the data from the stack trace but no info from it. Looks like a talkback report? Did you get the ID from the talkback? If not a stacktrace should look something like this: nsvoid::function (blah blah) nsblah::function (blah blah) etc etc:)
