This started failing today, I can reproduce locally. There's another favicon available and the png file is now: 
list-style-image: url("chrome://browser/skin/identity-icons-https-mixed-display.png");

I'll provide a fix patch shortly.

Hm, I don't get it anymore, this was the message and the icon was a warning triangle with "!". Maybe a connection thing? Will keep an eye over this.
