There is no way for users to find out more information about prefs when a they open about:config. Most of the pref names are meaningless in themselves and even firefox engineers don't know what a lot of them mean. Can we add a little question mark next to each pref, or a small window when we highlight each pref that displays the meaning and options for each preference? I think this would go a long way to making about:config more usable.
