The server 2012 have a "Metro" style start screen, and user expectations are likely to be that Metro for Firefox would work there. Reportedly it does not.
Hi, I faced a similar problem with server 2012, the problem was that I was using the main administrator account, it didn't allow me to run Nightly in "Metro" style. Here is what I did: 1. Run "secpol.msc" 2. Select Local Policy 3. Select Security Options 4. Enabled : User Account Control: Use Admin Approval Mode for the built-in Administrator account Restarted and it works under Metro mode on Windows Server 2012. Eklavya
