This bug does not appear with MathML-enabled mozilla-0.9.1 for linux

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.compile mozilla-0.9.2 source with MathML enabled for linux
2.open any .xml-file containing MathML code, then the crash appears
3.

There were some changes that were not reflected in the MathML code.
(see bug 87076 and bug 86368). Does the patch in bug 86368 fix the problem?
If so, it will mean the patch wasn't/isn't checked in the branch.

I read in bug 90758 that a work-around that doesn't require code-level changes 
could be to set the following preference: 
user_pref("font.allow_double_byte_special_chars", false)

I am going to mark this bug as a duplicate (it is not a MathML-only bug.)
And the "Additional Comments From Shannon Diener 2001-07-13 17:13" in bug 90758
say "Looks like this is only a problem on the branch.  Trunk works fine."
Meaning the patch that fixes the problem wasn't/isn't checked in the branch.
