Suggestions on how to make this smaller are welcome.

The size of this can be massively reduced if we use bower for all the front end libs, but i feel like that should be a separate patch.

We can make this smaller in my mind. Getting it to the same current working state is priority number one.

I've tested the events section with sqlite and mysql and all the basic interactions seem to be working A OKAY. Let's get this in so we can tackle trimming the fat off this gigantic beast.
