Description: The keyboard shuts off when switching to a different keyboard language if "Arabic" or "Hebrew" is selected "Hebrew" and "Arabic" is not a target for 1.1 but it effects other target languages Repro Steps: 1) Updated Leo to Build ID: 20130904041204 2) Open "Settings" and navigate to "Keyboard" 3) Select "Arabic" or "Hebrew" languages along with "English" 4) Open the "Browser" or "SMS" app 5) Tap the "address bar" to make the "Keyboard" appear 6) Switch the keyboard to "Hebrew" or "Arabic" 7) Tap on the "Globe" icon again to go back to "English" Actual: The keyboard is shuts off Expected: The keyboard successfully switches to the next language Environmental Variables Build ID: 20130904041204 Gecko: http://hg.mozilla.org/releases/mozilla-b2g18/rev/307824edadd7 Gaia: d0a415bbf23e5d01c2b287d9fca708e167cfe70d Platform Version: 18.1 RIL Version: 01.01.00.019.212 Notes: Repro frequency: 100% See the video attachment

The closing of the keyboard when switching from keyboard layouts with non-latin input methods (e.g. Arabic, Hebrew) to keyboard layouts that use the latin input method was deliberate, introduced by the patch of bug 874011 (see bug 874011 comment 40). This was required to properly set the word suggestions language.
