Hello Shaohua,

Simplified Chinese is one of the languages we offer in Gaia 1.2 release.  In order to support the launch, a few supporting products need to be ready.

Please check the status here: http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/mpstats/.  There is a lot to be done.  The priority of the components are listed as follows.    

Locations to find the strings for different components: 

* P1: Fireplace - frontend, and consumer pages: https://github.com/mozilla/fireplace/tree/master/locale
* P2: Webpay - payment system: https://github.com/mozilla/webpay/tree/master/locale 
* P3: Zamboni (legacy): https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/tree/master/locale 

Since you are the team lead, I am assigning this project to you.  If you have a different designated person for the job or in change of marketplace, please reassign.

I don't have any confirmed schedule but it could be either by end of the year or first thing next year.  Marketplace has a lot of strings and it takes time to complete it all.  I hope you can start planning on this.  In addition, if you start localizing now, we can start testing it to identify potential localization issues.

They are all at github.  Is it possible that you pull and push the files through github?  

here is the status of zh-CN http://l10n.mozilla-community.org/~flod/mpstats/.  And yes, there is a lot to be done.  Please arrange resources to get this started.  In terms of priorities, please finish Fireplace and Webpay first.

Permissions are already OK.

Before you start translating it's always recommended to "Update all from VCS". That usually also helps if "Commit all to VCS" throws an error. After I did that I was able to commit.

The following three projects should be OK now:

https://localize.mozilla.org/zh_CN/amo/

Hi Holy,

https://github.com/mozilla/zamboni/tree/master/locale is still valid. Doesn't matter where you download the strings, they will all end up in the same place. We hope it makes it simpler for those who don't find github easy to use.

I will ask marketplace dev to add the missing locales.
