I have rechecked this bug with Flame- master(2.1)- today build and from the download manager (because email composer only allow you to add things from galery, camera, video and music) trying to send an email with attachments like pdf, docx, pptx, xlsx, vcf ... but I have not found any option to do that.
Adam, Is there any plan to add this feature in any release? is there any other bug to track them? (I could not find it sorry)

Duping to an existing bug. The short answers are that :arog is no longer the product manager for the email app and that there is no big feature planned to support this from the email side. However, minimal changes are required on the email side to fix this. I am creating a thread on dev-gaia now to try and get this situation addressed now in the v2.1 time-frame. I'll link to the thread on bug 848400 once I've sent the message.
