We have some users in our LDAP directory that have ","s in their CNs (e.g. "Baffoni, Mike"). When LDAP returns the CN <address>, it doesn't put quotes around the CN part so that when you send the message, it doesn't work (e.g. "To: Baffoni, Mike <baffonimoz@aerovironment.com>"
This seems to be a duplicate of bug 89198. I've put my vote there.
