You'll need to check out part of the mozilla.org repository, where the Thunderbird site is being stored. You can:

svn co https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/

Please translate the file in the mozilla.org svn repository for the Thunderbird 24 What's New page, that is:

/pl/thunderbird/24.0/whatsnew/index.html

If you want to provide translated images, you can place them in: 
https://svn.mozilla.org/projects/mozilla.org/branches/staging/thunderbird/img/whatsnew/l10n/
The image names should be:
ignore-threads-pl.png
idn-email-pl.png


Once the image is on the server, the page will automatically update the <img> tag. You do not need to change it.

The page on the staging server is:

FYI, in r121334 I fixed a mistake made in the original translation. Will the whatsnew page update automatically or does the change need to be pushed to production?

It needs to be pushed to prod, but I don't have permissions to do that. If the page is not pushed automatically in the next days you need to ping :sancus
