Description:
There is not a scroll bar present when scrolling through PDF files.

1) Updated to Buri Build ID: 20130916040205
2) Open the browser and go to the website http://apps.irs.gov/app/picklist/list/formsInstructions.html
3) Open any PDF form to view it in PDF Viewer.
4) Scroll through the PDF pages.

Actual:
There is not a scroll bar present when the user is scrolling through a PDF file.

Expected:
There is a scroll bar present on the side of the screen when viewing PDF files with multiple pages.

Issue does not exist in v1.1. Scroll bar is present.

The regression window is from ^ to the most recent Buri 1.2 mozRIL located within the description which is all Buri 1.2 master builds we have.

In triage we discussed this could be related to https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=915783. Requesting QA to help test this by preffing off SkiaGL to see if we can reproduce this.

For QA Wanted - see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=915783#c9 for the details of how to flip SkiaGL off. Specifically you need to change the preference gfx.canvas.azure.accelerated to false and push the updated prefs to device.

There still seems to be no scroll bar while having SkiaGL off, but with that pref off there is no doubling effect like from bug https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=915783.

Would you like me to add a comment to that bug with the information about having SkiaGL off getting rid of the strange loading.

I have no clue, pdf.js hasn't changed from version 1.1 to 1.2 so I'm guessing it's something in the platform.

Vivien, I recall a change related to being able to press on the side where a scrollbar would be causing the screen to jump.  Am I remembering correctly?  Do you think it could be related to this?

Not related but scrollbars are gone for all Gaia apps: See bug 876741, which depends on bug 813041.
