Steps to reproduce:

Went to options, privacy, and under history set it to "Never remember history"


Actual results:

under the desktop mode, no history is remembered; however, the metro version still recalls history.


Expected results:

history should not have been remembered for both the metro ui version and the desktop version

Tested on 2013-09-30 on the latest nightly, and I can confirm that when you set the option to not remember history in the desktop version, your Metro Firefox version still remembers history. However, these are separate instances, and I don't think this is a problem.

However, I don't see an option in the Metro Firefox version related to privacy and that does seem like a problem which would merit a change story. If you won't want your history remembered, I don't see a way to do it in Metro Firefox.

Not a bug. Desktop Firefox settings do not apply to the Metro Firefox browser which has its own profile. Not storing history is not an option Metro intends to support.
