919484 - URL Suffix Extension Breaks Address bar

After updating from Firefox 24 to 25 (beta channel) I discovered that the address bar was not working.  It allowed you to type but when pressing enter or clicking go nothing happened, it does not load the URL.  It appears this is due to the URL Suffix addon as disabling it resolves the problem.

Steps to reproduce:
Install URL Suffix 0.6.0 (https://addons.mozilla.org/En-us/firefox/addon/url-suffix/) on Firefox 25 Beta
Enter a URL into the address bar and press return or go

If this is a result of intentional changes in Firefox 25 then the addon needs to be updated or blocked as it breaks the browser in a serious way

The developer has been notified and current versions of the add-on have been marked as incompatible. The add-on hasn't seen any development in a couple of years, so I wouldn't hold my breath on a update.

Nothing else to do here. This isn't a Firefox bug. Bug 846635 made the breaking change and it's not something we would like to revert.
