Today at the PhoneGap conference we are demoing FxOS phones. We encountered a certificate error on the Marketplace. However, both the "visit site" and "confirm permanent exception" buttons do not work, leaving this a dead end. STR (I think): - Host an app on a site with an invalid SSL cert - run the app - encounter the SSL error page - try to confirm the exception
That's on the 1.1.0.0.-prerelease version on the Keon.
Oh, setting the date and time completely wrong on the phone will trigger this error, even with an otherwise valid cert on the server.
This is a wont fix - many things do not work when you put the device date into past to cause the cert error appear. We will not fix any issue involving bugs that happen with the device set in the past. The correct resolution path requires us preventing the timeframe being set back into the past.

Unless this is specifically caused by the device date, I disagree. If the buttons to override an invalid SSL cert are not going to work, don't show the buttons?
(In reply to Fred Wenzel [:wenzel] from comment #4) > Unless this is specifically caused by the device date, I disagree. You need STR here that demonstrates this without altering the device date to the past.
