Booted
Launched Aurora
Auto-installed update
Announcement of "Touch friendly firefox for win 8"
Checked in metro



Actual results:

Item is in the top left corner but only displayed as a unicolor tile with purple background; no writing, no graphics.


Expected results:

Icon/Tile should be displayed as advertised in the announcement. (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/good-news-firefox-now-touch-friendly

I can't reproduce the issue - Firefox icon is properly displayed on my Windows 8.1 machine.

I am using a WIndows 8.0 machine. Can anyone check with a 8.0 machine?

I haven't been able to reproduce this on Win 8.0/8.1 machines by testing fresh Aurora installations or through upgrades from earlier Aurora versions (although all being Aurora 26).

Hi guys,

by removing nightly i fixed this issue. I now have a working aurora icon on the start screen. This automatically happened when I removed an existing nightly version. I had firefox, aurora and nightly installed parallel.

Can I close this, or do you need more information?
