User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/24.0 (Beta/Release) Build ID: 20130910160258 Steps to reproduce: 1. Click on an input 2. Click on a button/link that hides that input 3. Cursor is visible over the new content (over a div, an image, a canvas or whatever is now on the place where the input was before). Actual results: The orange cursor is still visible Expected results: The cursor should not be visible if the input is not visible either.

I've tried with: document.activeElement.blur(); But the cursor is still displayed. The page is a bootstrap site that shows and hides div's (content) on user input (buttons, menu...).

I believe this is bug 906499 which is fixed in Firefox 26. Can you download and try Nightly (http://nightly.mozilla.org) or Aurora (http://aurora.mozilla.org) for mobile Android and re-test?

I've just downloaded Firefox Beta (v25 from google play) and the bug is still present. I've downloaded Firefox Aurora (v26) and the bug has gone. Good news =) I'm sorry for the duplicate.
