This is the user story meta bug for media recording
As a user (app developer), I should be able to take picture from the standard API. (Implement ImageCapture API for capturing pictures)

Ivan, bug 909542 is a (WIP) clean-up of the current implementation of the CameraControl API, making it _much_ easier to implement ImageCapture on top of it, in place of the current DOM API. I'm hoping to get it finished up in the next month or so.
