Print does not remember properties settings

Details
Commerical 7/25 build on USWin95.
- Bring up Print... dialog
- Change default printing properties (e.g., change printer and change
from 1-up to 2-up).
- Click OK to Print
- Bring up Print... dialog again
- Properties have not been saved and the default settings have been restored
In Netscape 4.x, it would remember the modified properties for that session.
If you quit and restart 4.x, then the default printing properties are restored.
This is very annoying if you want to print several pages with the same
properties. A workaround is make global printing properties changes via
the Windows Printers control panel, but this is inconvenient and affects all
applications. Often I want different properties for printing HTML, Word,
PowerPoint, etc.

I am not sure what properties you are talking about. There are alot of them..
some get changed.. some won't.. we have bugs on some.. so you have to be more
specific please. I dont know what 1-up and 2-up is.
I provided 2 specific properties that I always use:
- printer (e.g., Lungfish)
- 1-up, 2-up, etc.
1-up, 2-up, <n>-up is printing <n> pages on a single sheet. Depending upon
the printer driver, this may be called something different. This is the term
used by the HP driver I have on Win95. The driver on my W2K box calls
this Printer Features - Pages per Sheet (under Advanced).
Other frequently used properties:
- duplex printing (if the printer supports it) which allows you to print
on both sides of the paper.
- portrait vs. landscape orientation
But basically, anything that you are allowed to set (usually from the
Properties button in the main Print dialog), should be sticky until you
exit the application.
