nbaca, I'm sure there a bunch of "folder pane images not painting" problems.
if you know of any, can you make then depend on this bug?

hmm, could I load the necessary images (using a resource bundle) to work around
this problem?

cool! I've got a work around for one bad case of this.
some times, the unread / read, flagged / unflagged icons don't paint in the
thread pane.
to work around this, I pre-load the images using resources.xml.
I'll attach a patch.

I'll spin up a new bug (or find the old one) about the thread pane icons.
this bug is still valid, and still bites us.

This is a mass change. Every comment has "assigned-to-new" in it.
I didn't look through the bugs, so I'm sorry if I change a bug which shouldn't be changed. But I guess these bugs are just bugs that were once assigned and people forgot to change the Status back when unassigning.
