Context menu incorrect after loading the mail start page (2nd time in session)

Win32 2001-07-25 branch build

1.  Start Mail
2.  Mail start page appears.  Bring up the context menu.  Notice there are only
two menu items (which is correct).
3.  Select a mail message.  Message loads in the message pane.
4.  Select Go | Mail Start Page
5.  Mail start page appears.  Bring up the context menu.

Actual results:  menu will show items such as Print..., Forward, Reply All, etc,
which does not apply to the mail start page. Those items do not function when
selected.

Expected results.  Context menu should match the menu shown in step 2.

I see this too (Linux 2002041711).

But I also see something else - when I first go into the context menu on the
mail start page, i.e. before selecting a message (reproduction step 2), I get an
empty context menu (i.e. a grey box about 5px by 5px containing no menu items).
Same bug, or different bug?

Bug 147152 isn't a duplicate - it's the other bug I mentioned in comment 1.
Although these two bugs are probably related in some way.
