Once we've fixed bug 925515, we should be able to provide a list of search providers (and likely related add-ons) associated with search hijacking. If a user is using that engine only (i.e. not using multiple engines, thus indicating they know how to switch engines), we should help users understand what has happened and provide them with an effective remedy.
If deemed useful, we can implement commands in the remote API to disable/revert search settings and/or uninstall specific add-ons.
