It would be awesome if we could configure certain trees to accept try syntax. For example, on Cedar I often need to do a large number of pushes to triage failures on a new platform. Each push triggers all jobs when I only care about one of them. In this case, I can't use try because the new jobs aren't scheduled there yet.
This probably isn't high priority as I'd be one of the few benefiting from it, but there could be other use cases I'm not thinking about. I also have no idea how difficult this would be to implement.
Obviously this could only be enabled on branches that never merge back to m-c, and would need to be enabled on a case by case basis.

Setting in a similar way as Try should be possible.

On second thought, standing new builds/tests up on try to begin with seems like a better way forward.
