All major phone OSs has maps by default. FirefoxOS has non (unless you count "HERE Maps" which is bundled on geeksphone devices). We need a free, open source, easy to use map application (probably using OpenStreetMap) to be part of the core FirefoxOS experience.
I confirm this bug. We absolutely need a native application for map and car navigation system. I think we can use openstreetmap for map, osrm ( http://project-osrm.org/ ) or navit for routing engine. Thanks a lot

Same thing here, lacking a good offline mapping application is a blocking feature for me. What about porting OsmAnd~ (Well, I guess an other name would then be better :) ) to FirefoxOS ? Is it possible with, say, emscripten
forgot the final "?", "Is it possible with, say, emscripten?" was actually a question :)
