This is a bug update to Bug 91265 and 91269(closed bugs).
BuildID: 2001072908
Using University Washington IMAP-2000 on a Solaris 7 box.
These two bugs is about opening a huge inbox(8000> messages) and filter them
into different folders.
The problem is that it seems to Lock and nothing happens. The message at the
bottom is "Moving..." and nothing happens, or so it seems.
Because something is happening and mozilla.exe is eating CPU(as much as i can
get).
I got tired of this and moved my /var/mail/box to a folder on my homeaccount
and opened it up as a regular folder without problems.
The only thing I can notice about this folder that might be strange is that is
contains a huge amount of messages in a mailinglist I'm subscribe to and was
about to be moved to its own folder.
I don't know the exact number of messages but 5-6 thousand messages atleast.
Hope someone can reproduce this behaviour.

Is this just slow, or are you seeing a hang?

Most of the times it's a hang.. I think. :)
Sometimes it manages to move some messages.
If it takes so long that I end up exiting mozilla I don't know but I have had
the application running over night a couple of times and still not finished.

Roger: Are you still seeing this in a more recent build?

I haven't been able to see this lately.
Mostly because I haven't had a HUGE mailbox since my vacation. :)
I'm about to take a vacation in a month or so. I can come back then.

Roger: Sounds good. When you come back from your vacation, though, please be
sure to install the latest build before checking your e-mail (as opposed to
checking your e-mail right away).

Windows W2k, BuildID: 2001110209
Problem seems to still be here, but I believe it's related BugID:
91269 While moving mail: The current command did not succeed. The mail server
responded: Command line too long.

I haven't seen this behaviour in a while. But then my inbox haven't been unusually large for quite a while. :)
