I thought this worked in Safari/Chrome, but I was mistaken. I'm not an expert on the CSS spec, so this may not be a valid bug. Seems interesting though.

WFM with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:105.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/105.0

but I could reproduce with Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64; rv:26.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/26.0

mozregression shows it was fixed on 2016-02-17
